Waarom hebben jullie dit huis ooit gekocht?
"We kochten dit huis in februari 2023 om er samen met mijn dochter te wonen. We zochten een ruim appartement, in een nieuwbouwomgeving en niet te ver van het centrum van Amsterdam. Dit appartement sprong er voor ons uit door de ruimte, het licht en de sfeer. Bovendien is de tramhalte direct voor de deur, wat het extra aantrekkelijk maakte."

Wat maakt deze woning zo fijn om in te wonen?
"Het huis is heerlijk licht van ‘s morgens vroeg tot in de avond. Het uitzicht is fantastisch, met zicht op het Diemerpark, de Johan Cruijff Arena in de verte en steeds veranderende wolkenluchten. Het ruimtelijke gevoel en het grote balkon zijn heerlijk, perfect om buiten te lunchen, te barbecueën of een feestje te geven. Maar het allerbelangrijkste is de warme sfeer van het huis. Iedere dag voelde ik me hier thuis."

Wat spreekt jullie aan in de woonomgeving?
"De locatie biedt het beste van twee werelden: je woont in een rustige buurt, maar staat binnen 16 minuten in het centrum van Amsterdam. Daarnaast ben je in slechts 5 minuten op de ringweg. Alle voorzieningen zijn dichtbij: een school aan de overkant, het winkelcentrum IJburg op loopafstand en elke woensdag een gezellige markt om de hoek."

Wat is de reden van jullie vertrek?
"Mijn dochter is inmiddels 19 en woont op zichzelf nu ze is gaan studeren. Dit ging sneller dan verwacht, maar is natuurlijk fantastisch voor haar! Daarnaast heb ik een geweldige nieuwe liefde gevonden en we gaan samen een nieuw begin maken in het centrum van Amsterdam."

Why did you ever buy this house?
‘We bought this house in February 2023 to live there with my daughter. We were looking for a spacious flat, in a new-build area and not too far from the centre of Amsterdam. This flat stood out for us because of its space, light and atmosphere. Moreover, the tram stop is right outside the door, which made it extra attractive.’

What makes this house so nice to live in?
‘The house is wonderfully light from early morning to evening. The view is fantastic, overlooking Diemerpark, the Johan Cruijff Arena in the distance and ever-changing cloud cover. The spacious feel and large balcony are lovely, perfect for having lunch outside, barbecuing or throwing a party. But most importantly is the warm atmosphere of the house. Every day I felt at home here.’

What appeals to you about the residential area?
‘The location offers the best of both worlds: you live in a quiet neighbourhood but are in the centre of Amsterdam within 16 minutes. In addition, you can be on the ring road in just 5 minutes. All amenities are close by: a school across the street, the IJburg shopping centre within walking distance and a cosy market around the corner every Wednesday.’

What is the reason for your departure?
‘My daughter is now 19 and living on her own now that she has started studying. This went quicker than expected, but is of course great for her! In addition, I have found a great new love and we are going to make a new start together in the centre of Amsterdam.’
